The Micro Alumni Connect (MAC) two-year course is an advanced, postgraduate-style programme designed exclusively for graduates of the three-year Micro-Madrasa. It is not a repetition of basics but a profound deepening of sacred knowledge across four interconnected pillars: Qur’anic Exegesis (Tafsir), Prophetic Tradition (Hadith), Spiritual Purification (Tazkiyah), and Applied Jurisprudence (Fiqh).

About The Course
Subject Focus
Qur'anic Mastery:
Students will complete a detailed, contextual Tafsir of 24 key chapters of the Qur'an—from the foundational Fatiha and Mulk to the spiritual heart (Ya.Sin) and protective chapters (Kahf)—equipping them to engage deeply with Scripture.
Hadith Proficiency:
They will master two seminal collections: Imam Nawawi's 40 Hadith (foundational ethics) and Habib Omar's Mukhtar al-Hadith (spiritual selections), providing a robust framework for prophetic guidance in daily life.
Applied Islamic Law (Fiqh):
Learners will gain practical, actionable knowledge to navigate complex modern dilemmas, including marriage and divorce, modern banking, crypto assets, halal consumption, death rituals, and Islamic wealth distribution.
Spiritual Elevation:
Through studying al-Isa'i (Clarification of Noble Character) and Ghazali's Forty Religious Premises, students will internalise a framework for self-purification, moving beyond theory to embody prophetic character.
Civilisational Readiness:
In Year 2, learners will develop the theological and intellectual maturity to respond to secularism, moral dilemmas, and modern ideologies, alongside practical skills in parenting and community engagement (Da'wa).
How It Builds on the 3-Year Micro-Madrasa
Building upon the content typically covered in the foundational 3-year Micro-Madrasa programme (which includes basic Aqidah, introductory Fiqh, foundational Arabic, and core Seerah), the Alumni Connect course elevates the graduate in four distinct ways:
From Foundational Worship to Complex Application:
In the 3-year course, students learn the how of prayer and fasting. In AC Year 1, they move to the why and the complexities—applying Fiqh to marriage, finance, and modern contracts.
From Basic Texts to Primary Sources:
The foundational course may rely on beginner primers. The AC course thrusts students directly into the words of the Qur'an (detailed Tafsir) and the primary collections of Hadith.
From Personal Piety to Community Leadership:
The foundational course focuses on individual spiritual development. The AC course expands this to communal leadership—teaching students how to perform funeral rites practically, issue advice on parenting, and engage in structured Da'wa.
From Theoretical Theology to Defensive Apologetics:
Year 2's “Questions of our age” moves beyond memorising creedal statements to actively defending and articulating Islamic positions on gender ideology, freedom of belief, and AI within a secular framework.
